The Heart Behind Black Bunny Café

I grew up watching my mom make Bún Bò Huế—the way she carefully balanced the spices, how the broth simmered for hours, filling the whole house with its rich, comforting aroma. Back then, I didn’t think much about it. It was just home.

As I got older, I realized how special it really was. I wanted to keep that tradition alive, but I also wanted to truly master it. So, I didn’t just rely on memory—I took courses, practiced nonstop, and refined every little detail until I knew I could do it justice.

Now, at Black Bunny Café, we’re serving Bún Bò Huế just the way it should be—steaming hot in a stone bowl so every bite stays just as good as the first. And because I’ve always loved boba, we’re pairing it with rich, creamy milk tea to bring the best of both worlds together.
